After a seventeen year album sabbatical, critics and fans alike lauded 2013’s Surgical Steel, the band’s first record since Swansong (1996), and a glorious return to form. In demand more than ever, In the lead up to a new 2021 full length release Carcass offer the 4-track EP Despicable. The collection is made up of songs not featured on the band’s upcoming 2021 full length. Anchored by the caustic vocals and fluid guitarwork, respectively, of original members Jeff Walker and Bill Steer, Despicable is yet another surgical strike.
