Magnetic marks a triumphant return for Dune Pilot, showcasing the band's signature fusion of fuzzy, earthy stoner/desert rock. The album promises a musical odyssey for fans of Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Down, Fu Manchu, and Monster Magnet.
Founding members Andris Friedrich on vocals and Christian Schmidt on guitar are focusing again on earthy stoner roots rock with a ‘fat fuzz’. Munich scene veterans Veit Schlembach on drums (ex Password Monkey) and Konst Fischer on bass (ex Smoke The Sky) brought freshness into the team, enriching the sound and songwriting of the band in a multi-layered and positive way. The gods of desert rock are duly honoured here.
The new album, ‘Magnetic’, has been completely recorded live in the studio by the well-rehearsed musicians.
The four-piece ensemble have already done many live-shows, mainly in Germany, and have shared stages with scene greats such as Karma To Burn, Orange Goblin, Greenleaf, Colour Haze and Rotor.
