This twelve-track LP captures Janis Joplin as she moves from the San Francisco rock of Big Brother to the more r’n’b / soul-oriented direction of The Kozmic Blues Band and The Full Tilt Boogie Band. Each recording is taken from either an FM radio broadcast or a television appearance so sound quality is very good throughout. Songs such as I Can’t Turn You Loose and Raise Your Hand were never released on a studio LP. Comes with full recording credits and sleeve notes.
