Highly anticipated new album from GRAMMY Award-winning artist Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. Self-produced by Nelson (son of Willie) and the band, 'Sticks and Stones' was written solely by Nelson with the communal live performance experience and the hope of bringing people together at the forefront of his mind. These twelve songs are both spirited and heartfelt, as Nelson explores the universal human experiences of love, heartbreak, celebration, longing and self-reflection through his singular and thoughtful perspective.

Known for their electric live performances, the band will tour throughout this spring. The first single, ‘More Than Friends’, features CMA and ACM Award-winning artist, Lainey Wilson. Since his debut over a decade ago, Texas and Hawaii-based Nelson has played countless sold-out shows and festivals and released seven studio albums to date including the latest, 2021’s A Few Stars Apart. Produced by Dave Cobb, the record spent seven weeks at #1 on the Americana Albums chart and received widespread acclaim. Additionally, from 2015 to 2019 Promise of the Real were Neil Young's backing band (and recorded five albums with him), Nelson co-produced the music for 2018’s lauded 'A Star Is Born' movie in addition to appearing in the film and went on to win a BAFTA Award for Best Original Music and a GRAMMY Award for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
