Shakalak's eponymous debut album 'Shakalak' is being issued on vinyl for the first time. Originally released in April 2022, the vinyl release features updated mixes of some tracks to reflect the addition of saxophonist Pádraig Dooney.
Recorded at Shakalak HQ on Liffey St in the deepest, darkest depths of lockdown in 2021. Taking their usual DIY approach into the studio, the album features tracks which have been Shakalak staples since the beginning, as well as some material written during lockdown.
