How long can a group like the Troggs last? Wrap them up in Polythene and they’ll last forever. There are plenty of ways of spending your time in the new space age. You can sit in lotus position for an hour practising transcendental meditation. You can take your scooter out to the countryside searching for the non-existence of being or you can put on a woolly scarf and walk down the High St mumbling ‘make love nor war‘. Anyway if you’re not the meditative type or a hippie, you could just spend some quality time with your mates and listen to the Troggs‘ latest record.
The Troggs are really the thing. There have been too many cynics who considered them just a big joke. In recent months of psychedelic and electronic music, the Troggs have continued to furnish us with rock’n’roll and nice ballads - no message – no instructions on how to be happy or how to live your life - just a simple suggestion that it would be a good idea to be cheerful, to dance and have fun. It’s here in Polythene... And that is why we Trogg everything about the Troggs – Trogg it!
